does the STS accomplish?

publish a newsletter, Outreach, five times a year, to keep members informed. |

participate with the STF in pre-retirement seminars. |

are affiliated with ACER-CART-the Canadian Association of Retired Teachers-which promotes
the interest of all retired teachers in Canada and makes submissions to the Government
of Canada. |

are a founding member of SSM - Saskatchewan Seniors Mechanism - an "organization
of organizations" which coordinates efforts towards the well-being of all
Saskatchewan seniors. | | . | | We
are an advocate for fairness in taxation of seniors, and in all matters concerning
the welfare of retired teachers. | | . | | We
sponsor a group health care and dental plan. | |
